Steiner-Heckard Wedding...

Jordan and Megan...

I had a great day shooting the professional candids for their wedding. Megan was truly the most relaxed bride I have ever seen. Always a smile on her face. The two of them just lit up together. It was a beautiful day even with a bit of rain to start it out. :) It was such a honor to be a part of your day! May the Lord richly bless you both as you begin life together!

Here are just a few of my favorites...

Pieces of the past... and a little bit of the future... little Eva.

Don't some things of the past, things with meaning, just make you smile a bit?

I had so much fun as I watched our little Eva play a bit of dress up.
The hat she wears is a decorative hat of my moms.
The little dress next to her was actually one that my mom wore often as a child.
The suitcase was one my sisters and I often saw my dad take to Indy when we were children and he was in the State Senate.

All of them precious memories for me.

Eva enjoying them... priceless.

Island of Hydra...

One of the highlights of my visit back to Greece was a couple of days on the island of Hydra. This is my favorite close island to Athens. It takes about 2 hours on a fast boat. Michelle and I arrived, ate some yummy lunch at the port of Hydra... we then took a boat to a nearby beach. They sky was so blue and the water ever more clear blue. Ahhh... Dinner overlooked the sea. Truly like paradise on earth. Hydra is considered the artist island as so many come to paint and do artwork there. There are no cars allowed on the island. All transporting, mail delivery, etc... is done on mules. It is so peaceful there...
Here are a few of my favorite pictures from my visit... enjoy...

I loved the color of this window!
How amazing are these colors?! Love it!

Love the texture on this window!

I am so thankful for my time in Greece... on Hydra. I hope one day to travel there again!

Day at the Beach...

Ok... so sometimes you have a scheduled photo shoot and then there are those rare days you just go to play and come out with "life" photos. Of course, this is what my hope is for every photo shoot that I do. Photos that capture real life and those "in between" jazzed up... real moments!

We went down to the beach with my lifelong friend, Lesley, really my sister for all that we have lived together. 32 years of living life side by side. Now we raise our 4 kids each and have a blast watching them enjoy each other.

What a great day! Blue skies... and 10 kids between the two of us. yow! Our combined 8 and two friends with them. This is what summer feels like in my memories... hope this day created memories for them...

As always... here are my favorites...
Eva chasing the birds... love it!

Ahhh.. the joys and adventures of little boys!

The Papadantonaki Family... Greece photo shoot...

While in Greece, one of the families I got to shoot was the Papadantonaki family. I have known Joy for many years and it was so fun to have time with the whole family. They were amazing and "game" for anything. I so enjoyed the time! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to do this! Lets make it an annual thing. :)

Athens, Greece!!!!

I have returned from a WONDERFUL 8 days in Athens, Greece. Our dear friends, Scott and Vicki, flew me out there to be the photographer for their daughter, Kendra and her fiance, Stephen's, wedding. The really fun thing is that Stephen's parents, Donna and Themis, are also dear friends of ours. It was amazing to return to Greece. For those of you who don't know, my hubby, kiddos and I have lived there twice for a total of almost 5 years. When we landed in Greece, I felt as if I had come home.

My sister, Marcy and her husband, George, and their 4 kids also live there... what a joy to be with them again! My friend, Michelle, joined me and we had a great time... it only went too fast. In that 8 days we managed to go to an island, to see the Acropolis, to photograph a full day of wedding fun and to shoot 5 other photo sessions. What an amazing journey! Thank you, Scott and Vicki, I am so grateful.

Stephen and Kendra, may God richly bless you! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day!
Here are a few of my favorites from the wedding...
